Nine Lights Surfboards Paulownia Wood Hand Plane

Nine Lights Surfboards is a one man operation run by myself, Jeff Beck in Huntington Beach, California. I build custom conventional foam and composite wooden surfboards, completely by hand from start to finish. My aim is to provide the best quality surfboard with truly individual service.

Could be a handplane for bodysurfing, could be footwear! This Nine Lights hand plane is made out of the scraps of paulownia wood left over from making alaias boards. The wood is so light and corky it feels like you hardly have anything strapped onto your hand.
